Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

Clipixa (clipixa.com) is a web platform for video and audio processing, with tools to automatically remove silence (XCut), transcribe audio/video with timestamps (XText), generate synchronized dynamic captions (XCaption), and a combined pipeline that runs several steps in sequence (XFlow). By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

You can create an account with email and password, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us (see section 12).

3. Permitted use

You may use Clipixa to process video and audio files you have the necessary rights to — your own recordings, licensed content, or material you are authorized to edit. The service is offered for legitimate personal and professional media editing and processing.

4. Prohibited use

You agree not to use Clipixa to:

• Process illegal content, or content you do not have the right to use or edit;
• Infringe third-party copyright, image rights, or intellectual property;
• Attempt to access other users' accounts, files, or data without authorization;
• Overload, attack, or interfere with the normal operation of the platform;
• Reverse-engineer the service in order to circumvent or copy it.

5. Your files and content

You keep all rights to the files you upload. By uploading a file, you grant Clipixa a limited, non-exclusive license solely to process that file and deliver the result to you — never to publish, redistribute, or otherwise use your content, and never to train artificial intelligence models. You represent that you have the necessary rights to the content you upload and are solely responsible for it.

6. Processing and file retention

Uploaded files are held temporarily for up to 24 hours, and processed results remain available for download for up to 168 hours (7 days). After that, files are automatically removed from storage. Your processing history (metadata, without the file content) may remain visible in your account even after the file itself expires.

7. Credits and paid plans

Tool usage is measured in credits (XPoints). New accounts receive a free trial balance. Current rates and plans are always the ones published on the platform at the time of use. Where available, paid plans are processed by a third-party payment provider (Asaas) — Clipixa never stores your card data.

8. Service availability

Clipixa is in an early stage of operation and is provided “as is”, without guarantee of continuous availability, perfectly accurate transcription/captions, or freedom from interruptions. Tools and features may change over time.

9. Intellectual property

The Clipixa brand, the platform's design, and the software that runs it belong to Clipixa. Nothing in these Terms transfers to you any right over the platform beyond using the service as described here.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, particularly in cases of illegal content or abusive use of the platform. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipixa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. The service is provided without guarantees of outcome beyond the technical processing described in these Terms.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. We are formalizing a dedicated contact channel for legal questions — in the meantime, general contact information is available on the platform.
